Sonic the hedgehog has announced a sequel to the first film
After the success of the first film directors Jeff Fowler, Pat Casey and Josh Miller announced that the sequel is happening and will be coming out on April 8, 2022.
The production has started a few weeks ago and filming started this week. Since then we have gotten some set photos and videos of people riding through the streets of the new Green hills.
The building now known as the new town hall of green hills is the same town hall building used in the series Once upon a time. Actors Jim Carrey (Dr Robotnik), James Marsden (Tom Wachowski), Tika Sumpter (Maddie Wachowski), Adam Pally (Wade Whipple) and Natasha Rothwell (Rachel, Maddie’s sister) as well as Ben Swartz (voice of sonic) are confirmed to make a return. The confirmed voice actor of tails Colleen O’ is making an appearance in the sequel. Actors such as Lee Majdoub (Agent Stone) is teased to make a return as well.
